To stimulate one’s appetite, appetizers are a must. From a very tender smoky grilled octopus or one of the chef’s specials such as a thinly sliced seared blue marlin prepared with a blend of spices and served with a persimmon coulis, it’s the perfect way to begin your dining experience. Always a favorite as an appetizer or a light meal is a very crispy, mouth-watering, wood-fired brick oven pizza served with various toppings.

Homemade pastas are always at the top of the list with diners. A must try is Trattoria L’incontro’s signature dish, Mezza Luna Ravioli - pasta stuffed with mascarpone cheese and pesto, served with an asparagus, brandy and walnut sauce. Traditional pasta dishes such as homemade spaghetti with perfectly seasoned sauce and meatballs are always on hand.

Risottos take no back seat to the pasta dishes and are served in a cheese basket which makes for an artful presentation.  Risotto combinations are endless from the superbly made Porcini mushroom and four-cheese to a seasonal wild berry or a scrumptious broccoli rabe, cherry tomato with shrimp and clams; they are all absolutely delicious.

Tantalizing entrees will not disappoint. For those seeking something a bit different, Chef Sacramone will always have a surprise on hand from a Beef Cheek Stew to seasonal game; always prepared deliciously.

Seafood takes on a world of its own with many items to choose from.  A wonderful treat is the Orata al Sale - Mediterranean Sea bass prepared with special spices, encrusted in sea salt and cooked in the wood-fired brick oven.

Daily Specials - Be prepared to listen very attentively as your waiter recites the many daily specials so you won’t miss a thing.
